Athlete Biography: Addison Millan

Addison Millan is a passionate and hardworking student-athlete from Tacoma, Washington, who has made a lasting impact both on the volleyball court and in her community. A standout at Stadium High School, Addison has been a starting varsity setter for the past three years, demonstrating consistency, leadership, and a deep understanding of the game. Her role as a setter highlights her ability to lead her team, make strategic decisions, and elevate those around her.

Throughout her volleyball career, Addison has cherished the experiences that come with competing at a high level—especially the travel tournaments with her team, where she built strong bonds and created lasting memories. Her love for the sport and dedication to her teammates have been key drivers of her success.

Off the court, Addison is equally committed to making a positive impact. She has been actively involved in volunteer work, contributing her time to food banks and participating in programs like Santa for Seniors, demonstrating her compassion and willingness to give back. She describes herself as someone with “the biggest heart,” a quality that shows in her actions and relationships.

Addison draws inspiration from her grandmother, who has been a constant source of support and encouragement throughout her life. Guided by the quote from Steve Jobs, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life,” Addison strives to live authentically and pursue what she loves.

She has committed to attending Montana State University, where she will continue her academic journey while exploring her future career path, as she is currently undecided on her field of study. Athlete Biography: Kate Webber

Kate Webber is a dedicated and accomplished student-athlete from Seattle, Washington, who has built an impressive volleyball career rooted in consistency, teamwork, and determination. A standout at Spring Academy, Kate earned Honorable Mention recognition during each of her high school seasons, highlighting her steady performance and contribution to her team’s success.

One of the most defining moments of her volleyball career was competing at Nationals with her team, an experience that not only showcased her competitive drive but also strengthened the connections she shares with her teammates. Kate values the relationships formed through volleyball, believing that team chemistry and friendship are just as important as success on the court.

Academically, Kate has also achieved an important milestone by being accepted into her top-choice university, the University of British Columbia, where she plans to pursue a degree in Psychology. Her passion for understanding and helping others extends beyond athletics and is central to her future goals.

Kate credits her family and friends as her greatest sources of inspiration, appreciating their constant support and encouragement throughout her journey. She also expresses deep gratitude to her parents, who have played a significant role in supporting her volleyball career and personal growth.

About Me

The person that inspires me the most is my sister, Ella because she always pushes me to be better!  Something special about me that many people don’t know is that I can recite almost any song word for word and am really good at burping and speed walking.  After college I hope to have an opportunity to travel and see more of the world but also land a good job that will make me lots of money.

Winning state my senior year with my best friends and all the locker room dance parties before-hand; and also, being able to play with my sister for two high school seasons are some of my most memorable volleyball moments.

About Me

Audrey Hepburn inspires me the most. Not only does she have great fashion sense, but she is a talented and incredible person! Her perseverance and survival in World War II instilled the deep value of empathy for others in her. She exemplified this through her work as an ambassador for UNICEF, advocating for children in crisis, and raising awareness about other humanitarian causes. She also inspired young girls that “True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.” Her elegance, timeless style, and unwavering compassion for others is truly inspiring and what I aspire to embody!

Something special about me that many people don’t know is that I was born 12 weeks early! I am a proud NICU baby!  In five years, I see myself having completed my bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s and my master’s from Notre Dame. By then, I plan to be a CPA but am also interested in investment banking. I see myself landing a job at Goldman Sachs or Deloitte. I also see myself living in New York, Chicago, or even abroad in London or Paris. Either way I see myself traveling a lot whether it’s for work or exploring the world! Alongside my career, I hope to be running my own fashion brand.  I want to thank my Mom, Dad, and my older sister, Jessy, for the constant support and love that they have provided me all these years! Another one of my favorite memories was when my high school team, Bellarmine Prep Lions, punched our ticket to State my junior and senior year!

Advice I would give to younger players is “Embrace many of the trials and tribulations you might face! Some of the most profound lessons that have stuck with me came from my greatest struggles in my career.  So, stick with it and do not give up! Keep working hard and you will reap the benefits.”

I’m inspired by my sisters, Emily and Alison, because they are successful in college and sports and have everything they want in their future planned out.  Something about me that most people don’t know is my favorite dog is a Bulldog.  In 5 years, I don’t know what I’ll be doing because I have not planned that far ahead yet.  I’d like to thank my family and my club and school coaches for their support throughout my volleyball career!

About Me

My mom inspires me because she is hardworking and driven. Always doing something even if she’s tired or doesn’t want to.  Something about me that most people don’t know is I like to diamond paint and am in the middle of a really big project. In 5 years I see myself in law school stressed out.  Thank you to my parents and sisters! Day ones always being there for me throughout my school/club volleyball career!  Some of my most memorable volleyball moments were the Oregon tournament and making TikTok’s with Celia, Krista and Taty. Also learning the Selena Gomez choreo with Ava.
