Kayden Davison – Athlete Biography
Kayden Davison is a dedicated student-athlete from Puyallup, Washington, and a proud graduate of Emerald Ridge High School. This fall, she will continue her academic and athletic journey at the Arizona State University, where she plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing.
Kayden’s volleyball career reflects years of commitment, growth, and passion for the sport. She has played volleyball from elementary school through her senior year of high school, competing at both the club and high school levels. Her experience across multiple teams has helped her develop strong leadership skills and a deep appreciation for teamwork.
One of Kayden’s greatest achievements extends beyond athletics. While excelling on the court, she simultaneously earned her Associate’s Degree in Business and Marketing alongside her high school diploma—demonstrating exceptional discipline, determination, and time management.
Among her most memorable volleyball experiences are the opportunities to travel and compete across the country with her teammates. A highlight of her career was traveling to Hawaii, where she enjoyed team bonding, beach photos, and unforgettable moments that strengthened lifelong friendships. For Kayden, volleyball has always been about more than competition—it’s about connection, teamwork, and shared experiences.
Off the court, Kayden is inspired daily by her mother, who manages a construction business while consistently supporting her at tournaments and events. She credits her mom’s work ethic and dedication as a driving force behind her own success.
Kayden lives by the quote, “Success is where preparation and opportunity meet” by Bobby Unser and finds motivation in the song “Lose Yourself” by Eminem. Known for her positive attitude and work ethic, she even became a source of encouragement (and humor) for teammates during conditioning—especially when it came to her standout ability in bear crawls.
Looking ahead, Kayden aims to graduate from the University of Arizona and pursue a career in marketing, ideally working for a consulting firm. She hopes to continue building meaningful relationships while applying her skills in business and strategy.
To younger athletes, Kayden emphasizes the importance of being a true team player: supporting one another, building friendships, and embracing every moment because time goes by quickly.
Above all, Kayden is grateful for the unwavering support of her family—who have been there every step of the way, from early mornings to late-night games—always cheering her on.
